As a result, this van only had 12,318 actual miles on it when I purchased it and the generator only had about 100 hours on it. I only found six others from this batch that sold on the internet and they were snapped up very quickly by hobbyists for various other uses. There were only ten of these surveillance / monitoring vans made in this particular EMI contract. The dealer had that original cost detail posted in their sales data related to this van (see image of their auction verbiage). I was told by the dealer, the government reps they spoke with said these vans originally cost around $102,000 each to build. I am the first and only owner since it left the government fleet. I purchased it from a commercial truck dealer licensed with the government to sell commercial government vehicles that were being rotated out of service from their fleet.
